The Office of Faith Formation is pleased to share with Bulletin readers advance information on its upcoming initiatives and activities:
In line with the newly set up Family Ministry, parents or guardians who are dropping off their children / wards for the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM faith formation classes are invited to an informal gathering in Room14 of the school building. Parents and guardians will be informed and notified by letter from me of the details, including the starting date.
Those who plan or are scheduled to hold their Quinceanera commemorations with a mass are to attend the Quinceanera Information Night as a group in January 2023. They will be notified the exact time, date and venue of the event. Chambelanes and friends of the Quinceaneras are welcome to attend.
A Marriage Information Night will be scheduled in early January 2023 for all “Engaged couples” and those who wish to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony at Holy Spirit Catholic Church Lake Wales. Special sessions in groups grouping for those who want to know more about the process of marriage annulment will also be held with the designated Diocese Advocate present to answer all questions of the attendees.
The Holy Spirit Youth Ministry will have its first kick–off event on December 16, 2022 at the Parish Hall at 5:30 pm. More information will follow soon.
The Young Adult Ministry core group of twelve will have its First Leadership Training in the first week of January 2023. Actual date will be announced soon.
La Oficina de Formación en la Fe o de la Catequesis, quiere suministrar la siguiente información sobre sus próximos proyectos:
–Ministerio de la Familia. Este ministerio se ha establecido recientemente. Los padres de familia cuyos hijo(a)s reciben clases de catequesis a las 9:30am y a las 11:00am, están invitados a una reunión informal en el salón #14 del edificio de la escuela. Los padres de familia y/o tutores serán informados de los detalles de la fecha de inicio por la señora Linda Dizon.
–Celebración de 15 Años. Las familias que están planeando esta celebración, deberán asistir a una reunión informativa en enero del próximo año. Más adelante se les informará la fecha, la hora y el lugar de la reunión. Los jóvenes que van a acompañar a la quinceañera en su celebración (chambelanes y damas de honor), son también bienvenidos a participar de la reunión.
–Información para Bodas. Se planea una noche informativa en el mes de enero, tanto para las “parejas comprometidas”, como también para aquellas parejas que estando casadas por lo civil o que viven juntas, deseen casarse por la Iglesia Católica aquí en la parroquia del Espíritu Santo. También se harán sesiones especiales en grupos pequeños, para aquellas personas que deseen conocer sobre el proceso de anulación matrimonial. Esto se hará con la persona encargada de la diócesis para estos trámites.
–Ministerio de Jóvenes. Su primera reunión se realizará el 16 de diciembre a las 5:30 de la tarde en el salón parroquial (parish hall). Próximamente se dará más información.
–Ministerio de Jóvenes Adultos. El grupo central de 12 miembros, tendrá su primera capacitación de liderazgo
en la primera semana de enero. Próximamente se dará la fecha.
