The Spanish Charismatic Group of Holy Spirit will reopen its prayer group. The group enjoys support of the church’s hierarchy from the Pope to the dioceses as a recognized ecclesial movement.
The name Charismatic is identified with the grace of the gifts and charisms that the Lord bestows on his Church. The Holy Spirit is the source of the Renewal of the Church of Christ. The purpose is to strengthen communion among other Catholic Charismatic Renewal, as well as to promote for unity among all other charismatic prayer groups and in the whole Body of Christ, the Church. The prayer group deepens the grace of baptism that one had received.
As in the early days of Christianity , the prayer groups conduct themselves in prayer worship, proclaim the Gospel, reach out to the marginalized, evangelize in different ways, share ones faith, relate with Jesus and experience the presence and fruits of the Holy Spirit. The group through those with the gift of healing conducts healing to members in need of physical and emotional healing.
The number of charismatic members reach millions all over the world and Holy Spirit Lake Wales will be part of it. Johnny Nasser, coordinator of the HSSCG (Holy Spirit Spanish Charismatic Group) and Linda Dizon, Director of Faith Formation invite parishioners and non parishioners to join us and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit as we come together in prayer during this Lent.
El Grupo Carismático en español de nuestra iglesia reabrirá su grupo próximamente. A nivel mundial, el grupo disfruta del apoyo de la jerarquía de la Iglesia, desde el Papa hasta los obispos en las diócesis, como un movimiento eclesial reconocido.
El nombre Carismático se identifica con la gracia de los dones y carismas que el Señor otorga a su Iglesia. El Espíritu Santo es la fuente de la Renovación de la Iglesia de Cristo.
Como en los primeros días del cristianismo, los grupos de oración funcionan como tal en el culto de la oración, en la proclamación del Evangelio, llegando a los marginados, evangelizando de diferentes maneras, compartiendo la fe, relacionándose con Jesús y experimentando la presencia y los frutos del Espíritu Santo. El grupo, a través de aquellos miembros con el don de sanación, lleva a cabo la sanación de personas que necesitan sanación física y emocional.
El número de miembros carismáticos llega a millones en todo el mundo y el grupo de la parroquia será parte de ello.
