Walking with Mom's in Need

Our ministry meets in the lower level of the
school building at the front entrance.
Our Goals:
- To bring Jesus to the family through Mom (or Dad) by helping them become the spiritual leaders of their family.
- To ease some of the economic strains felt by families in need by providing diapers & wipes alternation Saturdays. Often baby food, formula and baby clothes are available. Depending upon donations, we can also help with other typical baby items.
Our Volunteers
Our volunteers are members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and are predominantly English or Spanish speakers, although several are bilingual. Volunteers meet with Moms in Need at our school building on Saturday afternoons to assist them in becoming the faith leader in their family. So they bring Jesus to the family through Mom, (or Dad) and provide diapers and wipes which our parish members donate. If other baby items are available, volunteers can also help fill family's needs.
We also have approximately 20 Prayer Warriors who pray for each Mom / family throughout the week. Their prayers have helped to bring about safe deliveries, jobs, housing, improved health and safety for our families.
